Event details

The Erasmus+ project OBEC (One Block for Educational Credentials addresses the problem many foreigners, exchange students, or people who have alternative educational background might face when trying to enroll at another educational institution or when trying to find a job: to get recognition of their educational background or qualifications. OBEC tries to solve this issue by exploring the possibilities of storing educational credentials via blockchain technology. In this respect, EURADA is organising a series of lessons, and the competences acquired by participants during these lessons will serve to test the  validation and recognition thereof via the ECTA blockchain platform.

Structure of the event
During two weeks, experts from EURADA’s staff and larger network will teach 6 morning sessions of training course. All sessions will be held online, from 9:00 until 13:00 CET.
The first lesson will be divided into three sessions and will look at the topic of building a business plan. These sessions will take place on the 8th, the 9th and 10th of March.
The second lesson will also be taught over three sessions and will focus on the circular economy and working in this new sector. These sessions will take place on 15th, 16th and 17th of March.
Participants can sign up for one or both lessons, entirely free of charge. Moreover, upon successful completion of one or both lessons, participants will receive a blockchain educational credential. Course materials as well as instructions for the educational platform will be provided once registered.
